October means it's Spookerang season!

            Board if you dare on our trip to the infamous Markoff's Haunted Forest in Maryland. Our riders will wander through the bone chilling interactive trails that make up this terrifying Halloween attraction. Beware of ghouls, headless horsemen, creepy clowns, and crazed asylum workers as you make your way through the vast acres of woods. 

Markoff's is celebrating their 19th year this fall, and is spookier than ever. With it's overwhelming popularity and unique ghostly experience it's lucky that our riders get the traditional Boomerang VIP treatment by skipping the lines!

Those who make it out alive have the rest of the evening to enjoy the endless activities that span far beyond the trails.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Boomerang takes you to back in time!

Enter the 25 acre English Tudor Village in Crownsville, MD and experience the second largest Renaissance Festival in the country!

The festival is a quickly growing Boomerang tradition, and riders are in for a day of chivalry, bawdiness, and good fun. Dance, drink, and be merry as you witness jousting, artisans, street performers, and traditional foods and spirits as you go back to Medieval times! 


Guests can join in the fun further with costume rental options. Dress the part and become royalty for the day!

The festival is about an hour away and riders will enjoy premiere transportation as one of our lovely hosts takes you back in time and gets the party started with drinks and dancing on the ride to the festival. Feel free to bring your most appropriate Medieval cocktails to enjoy as we make our way to the Village.


What better and unique way to spend a Saturday or Sunday this fall?! Our day will begin with a pre-party at Caribbean Breeze in Arlington around 11 and we will spend about 5 hours at the festival during the day to ensure you have the full Renaissance experience!

Let us take you to college game day!

Hey riders, if the fall season means fight songs, tailgates, and football, then our exclusive out-of-town game day expedition is for you!

Why settle for just watching the game on TV when we can take you right to the middle of the action? We have teamed up with a luxury bus line to provide comfortable transportation for the 4 hour journey to Virginia Tech and Penn State, complete with bathrooms and our standard BYOB policy to start the tailgate on the road! 

Bathrooms are a definite necessity for our pre-game party ride!

The busses will pick up riders in Arlington and arrange to arrive at the stadium 4 hours pre-kickoff to ensure everyone has plenty of time to tailgate and enjoy the full college game day experience! A meeting point and time will be set to pick up riders and return to Arlington after the game ends. This is sure to be an all day affair unlike any other!

Riders will have safe, comfortable, sober transportation, and a true college football Saturday, along with a reliable ride home at the end of the day! There's no need to worry about the packed hotel rooms and ridiculous lodging fees, which we think is a pretty sweet deal!

Boomerang Gets Wanamaker Wet

Don’t miss the most exclusive end-of-summer sendoff! Wanamaker Wet Party in partnership with Rock the Vote and Metromix DC is taking over with a ten hour live electronic music festival on September 18.

Of course, Boomerang jumped at the chance to partake in the festivities and provide transportation to and from the incredible Yards on the Park outdoor venue near Nationals Stadium. We will be picking up from Ballston and also circling to Georgetown and George Washington University.

Ticket holders will enjoy access to the Yards fountain, water games, foam party, beer pong, flip cup, bottle service, mist tents, live bikini show, and ten straight hours of live international and local DJ talent- including Sultan + Ned Shepard, Serge Devant and Tatiana Fontes.

It doesn’t stop there! Attendees will have the chance to win gift certificates and cash prizes by participating in the swimsuit model competition. South Moon Under will be providing designer swimwear for the show!

Boomerang Concert Tour Strikes Again! -Virgin Fest

It's definitely concert season in the District! Boomerang has been hit with the largest demand to date for Virgin Fest on September 10th! 

Never fear faithful riders- if you want more, we'll give you more! We called in a fleet of premiere luxury coaches to support the unbelievable number of concert-goers who wanted to travel in true Boomerang style. 


To accomodate all of our riders in the area we will be starting from TWO locations! Half of our busses will be picking up at Front Page in Dupont Circle, and the other half at Caribbean Breeze in Ballston. 


Virgin Fest will be held at Merriweather Post Pavilion and is a free all day concert, spanning from 11 in the morning to 10 at night! It isn't hard to see how this infamous yearly festival sold out so quickly and that attendees saw the Boomerang as the obvious choice for a fun, festive, and safe form of transportation to and from the event!

The incredible line-up this year includes The Black Keys, Cee Lo Green, Deadmau5, Tv on the Green, and many more! These artists have come together to perform for free in support of The Re-Generation Project, reaching out to youth homelessness. 

We are so pleased that our Boomerang riders have shown such excitement and record-breaking demand for this perfect Saturday filled with live music, bus dance parties, and a truly charitable cause. Riders, we hope you're ready for the craziest concert tour to date! 

Wastin away again with the Boomerang!

Parrot Heads...it's that time again! The king of all concert tours hits this weekend with our habitually SOLD OUT Jimmy Buffett Boomerang tailgate and ride! 

Buffett fans were definitely bummed with the news that the tailgating was banned from the Jiffy Lube parking lot! Luckily, a few silly rules can't stop The Boomerang from keeping the party alive! In true Buffett form we arranged for an all-afternoon tailgate party at Caribbean Breeze in Ballston. Hey Jimmy, if the authorities at Jiffy Lube are giving you a hard time you're welcome to come party with us!

Our riders will enjoy a tiki tailgate featuring drink specials, non-stop Buffett playlists, $5 appetizers, corn hole, and so much more, to get the party started from 2-5 PM on Saturday! Then we'll be Bristow-bound, keeping the tropical party alive the whole way down I-66 to the concert! Our goal is to eliminate all worries in regards to driving, parking, and pre-partying, and therefore allow you to enjoy the concert in true Buffett fashion!

Although Jimmy Buffet holds a special place in our heart, we don't concert discriminate here on The Boomerang! We will be covering all the hottest concerts in the VA/DC/MD area so be sure to check our concert tour dates! Rolling through wine country with The Boomerang!

Enjoy swirl, sip, and enjoying unique Virginia reds and whites on a Saturday afternoon! Fall season is here and so are our wine tours! We can't think of a better way to spend your day. The morning starts at Caribbean Breeze in Ballston with mimosa specials as our excited riders gather to start the day. 

Then it's off to wine country! Last week we hit 8 Chains North and Loudon Valley Vineyard in the Leesburg area. We had three beautiful birthday girls on the bus, and everyone had an awesome attitude and great time! 

Speaking of birthdays, 8 Chains North Vineyard was celebrating it's 1 year anniversary and the Boomerang Bus riders were able to join in on the festivities!

Boomerang riders enjoy transportation to several of Virginia's most highly acclaimed vineyards, a complete tasting of each vineyard's unique varietal selection, and even a complimentary wine glass from each stop to remember the day!

Floatin' Down the Shenandoah River!

This Saturday will mark our last tubing adventure for our ten week tubing season! As the summer comes to a close we wanted to take a moment to reflect back on the good, the great, and the crazy, from one of our favorite and most popular adventure excursions! 

9:30am on a Saturday morning doesn't seem quite as early when you've got your swim trunks or bikini, cooler filled to the rim, and overwhelming anticipation for a day out on the river with the Boomerang crew! The lovely people over at Caribbean Breeze  in Ballston open their doors early to host the pre-tube party with delicious mimosa specials. Once everyone has arrived and gets a little morning buzz the Boomerang Buses hit the road!

Shenandoah River bound, the bus pit-stops at what many claim to be the best idea of the trip. Yep, you guessed it- the Food Lion. Food Lion you say? What could be so special about a grocery store? Our riders will tell you that this is the palace of all Food Lions. Front Royal knows how to cater to our riders with it's ridiculously oversized aisles of beer and refreshments, along with premade subs, water guns, water shoes, sunscreen, and enormous bags of ice. This stop is essential to refuel before hitting the river.

Just down the street we roll into Front Royal Canoe! These people have got it down, and always provide the most INCREDIBLE experience for the most INCREDIBLE riders...which are always arriving on the Boomerang Buses, of course! Once everyone gets their tubes & cooler tubes situated, they are ready to float down the river. Some all-star riders even come prepared with waterproof boom boxes and iPods in zip locked bags to keep the party alive while they float! 

No wonder these excursions sell out every weekend! Who wouldn't want to spend their Saturday floating along the river, soaking up the sun, meeting new friends, sipping on cocktails, and enjoying the scenery? Speaking of scenery, there is a chance you could even make some new four-legged friends as you float along. No you aren't hallucinating, there are actually COWS that sometimes are taking a Saturday swim as well! Oh Front Royal, you never cease to amaze us!

The locals refer to our moo-ing friends as "Shenandoah river hippos!"

By the end of the day our riders are always feeling great, suntanned (or even a graceful shade of pink), and ALWAYS have endless stories to tell. Many of them are back the next week to do it all again! We thank all of our faithful tubers for making our summer season the best one yet! Keep posted for our equally exciting fall adventures as the temperature drops! I feel some scavenger hunts, vineyard tours, and game day/concert tailgates coming on!

Where it all began...

Sure today the Boomerang covers a vast amount of interests: wine tours, river tubing, game day tailgate transportation, private parties, scavenger hunts, themed bar hops, and concert rides. But before all of our growth and craziness Boomerang was built on one solid idea that started it all- nightlife tours. It's a pretty simple idea right? People in DC are pretty much the most hip, fun, socialites in the good ol' U-S-of-A if you ask us. So why not create something for those who are already going out to the best places that eliminates the cost and hassle?


With some inspiration, heart, great relationships with DC bar owners over the years, and fabulous riders from near and far, the nightlife tours are not only the foundation of our company but have also evolved into a weekend tradition. 

Like clockwork every Friday night in Ballston and Saturday night in Dupont our huge neon busses arrive to start the night. Each one fully equipped with a bumpin sound system, renovated u-shaped seating, fancy "dancing poles" for riders to warm up their moves, talented drivers, and the most energetic hosts in town to make sure your evening is everything you could wish for. 


No night is ever the same and the hosts definitely have some tales to tell, but the night is ALWAYS a success. With the riders enjoying their cocktails as they are chauffeured across the city to the prime night spots, entering ahead of the line, avoiding the steep DC cover charges, and taking advantage of the Boomerang drink specials, what could top it?

Throughout these five years Boomerang has seen it all- birthdays, graduations, bachelorettes, or just those enjoying a night out on the town, and we are so honored to gain more and more additions to our amazing Boomerang family each weekend.
